The Anker SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 AC is a smart home battery that allows you to better tailor your energy consumption to your situation. This plug-and-play system connects you easily through the wall socket, without any modifications to your home or existing installation. Whether you already have solar panels or not, the Solarbank 2 provides an accessible way to store, use and save energy.

If you already have solar panels, this battery is a powerful addition to your system. You simply plug the SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 AC into the wall socket, allowing you to store excess solar energy for later use,  for example in the evening or during peak hours when electricity is more expensive. If you don't use a separate inverter and want to connect solar panels directly, the system supports a solar panel input of up to 1200 watts, split between two MPPT inputs of 600 watts each. In both cases, you can feed up to 800 watts back into the grid and use your own power even more efficiently.

Also if you do not (yet) have fixed solar panels, the Solarbank 2 is a valuable solution. You can use the system in combination with a small balcony system or even completely without solar panels. The battery can then recharge itself through the grid, for example during off-peak hours with low tariffs. In combination with a dynamic energy contract you can thus automatically recharge when electricity is cheap and use the stored energy as soon as tariffs rise. You set all this up easily through the Anker app. For example, you choose automatic self-consumption, a weekly schedule with fixed charging and discharging times (Schedule Mode), or extra charging when you expect a power outage (Manual Backup Power).
