Anker Smart EV Charger charging station

In Maastricht, we installed an Anker 22 kW charging station at a private customer's home. Because the existing 1-phase connection was too limited, the house was upgraded to a 3-phase connection. We immediately connected the charging station 1-phase, capped at 3.6 kW, so that charging could take place immediately.

After the grid operator's upgrade, we converted the installation to 3 phases. This increased the charging rate to 17 kW on the 3x25 A connection. Anker's smart meter provides dynamic load balancing, smart charging on excess solar power and avoiding unnecessary feed-in and associated costs. With dynamic rates, the installation automatically selects the cheapest charging times.

The result is a sustainable and future-oriented charging solution that maximizes both the energy budget and its own solar production.
