Project Description

For this particular music studio in Ruigoord, we realized a compact but complete energy system with five high quality south-facing glass panels and a 5 kWh Growatt home battery. Thanks to this south-facing arrangement, maximum sunlight is captured and the battery can store excess energy for times when extra power is needed.

The studio itself is cooled and heated with an air conditioner to keep the rooms comfortable year-round. There is also an electric boiler that is cleverly supplemented with the extra solar power. This creates its own ecosystem in which the sun forms the basis and the battery acts as the central hub in the web. The studio thus runs a large part of the year on self-generated power and remains less dependent on the grid.

A small but special project at an even more special location where sustainable energy and creativity come together beautifully.
