For this home in Amsterdam-North, we installed an Anchor Solix X1 home battery with a total storage capacity of 10 kWh. The Solix X1 works modularly: per battery of 5 kWh. So in this project, two modules were installed under the controller.
A major advantage of this system is the backup function. We connected the X1 to the meter box, so that the most important groups in the house, such as lighting, heat pump, Internet and refrigerator continue to run even during a power failure.
In terms of design, the Solix X1 stands out. With a depth of only 15 cm, the battery is remarkably slim and looks modern and stylish. This makes it not only functional, but also a neat addition to the home.
The battery is suitable for outdoor placement, provided it is not in full sun all day long. In this case we have chosen a sheltered spot, so that the life span and performance remain optimal.
